The 7th Annual Ormond Beach Beer Festival is coming to The Casements on October 10. The event will feature beer tastings from more than 35 breweries, along with food and other vendors. Tickets are $40 in advance or $45 on the day of the event. Proceeds benefit the Rotary Club of Ormond Beach and local charities.

Baer’s Furniture Coming to Daytona Beach

Baer’s Furniture is preparing to open its first Volusia County location in Daytona Beach. The Florida-based furniture retailer is planning a new showroom at 137 Automall Circle along the growing LPGA Boulevard corridor. The family-owned company currently operates 16 locations across Florida and offers furniture, home décor and interior design services.

 

Flagler Beach Considers Paid Parking Downtown

Flagler Beach is considering paid parking for approximately 400 downtown parking spaces after hearing proposals from four parking companies. The city has not yet selected a company or established parking rates, but a mid-2027 launch is being considered. One proposal would allow Flagler Beach residents to park for free, while license plate readers could potentially be used for enforcement.

AdventHealth Daytona Beach Expands With 100+ New Beds

AdventHealth is completing a major expansion of its Daytona Beach hospital to help meet the growing healthcare needs of Volusia County. The project adds five new stories between two existing towers, creating more than 100 additional beds. A new 287-space parking lot has also been added for patients, visitors and staff. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for August 26.
