Walmart on State Road 100 Clears Planning Board Review
The Palm Coast Planning Board unanimously recommended approval of a proposed 240,000+ square-foot Walmart Supercenter on State Road 100, west of BJ's Wholesale Club.
The project is expected to generate nearly 20,000 daily vehicle trips and approximately 200 jobs. The proposal now moves to the Palm Coast City Council for final approval.
The Frozen Frog Opens in Ormond Beach
The Frozen Frog has opened at 1498 W. Granada Boulevard in Ormond Beach.
The shop offers Hershey's ice cream, milkshakes, sundaes, shaved ice, and gluten-free options. The business began as a snow cone trailer before expanding into a permanent location.
Ocean Palm Golf Course Sale Officially Closes
The sale of Ocean Palm Golf Club in Flagler Beach has officially closed for $801,333.
The 37-acre property at 3600 S. Central Avenue was previously city-owned. New ownership plans future improvements and upgrades to the golf course.
New Smashburger Restaurant Opens in Daytona Beach
Smash N' Crunch opened June 6 at 1173 W. International Speedway Boulevard in Daytona Beach.
The restaurant serves smashburgers, hand-breaded chicken tenders, and loaded fries in the former Original Famous Philly's location.
