White Castle Sets Grand Opening Date in Daytona Beach
White Castle will open its new Daytona Beach location September 22 at 1944 LPGA Boulevard, with a 9 a.m. ribbon-cutting and a full day of opening festivities. The 3,430-square-foot restaurant will offer indoor and outdoor seating, two drive-through lanes and White Castle’s signature sliders and sides. The location is expected to hire about 60 workers.
11-Story Luxury Condo Proposed for Daytona Beach
An 11-story luxury condominium called Aegean is being proposed along South Peninsula Drive in Daytona Beach. The Greek-island-inspired development would include 160 condos, an 88-slip marina, water taxi service, a resort-style pool, parking garage, restaurants and recreational amenities.
Palm Coast Approves New Flagler Landings Walmart
On September 1, Palm Coast City Council unanimously approved the Flagler Landings site plan, clearing the way for a new 186,276-square-foot Walmart along State Road 100. The 38.81-acre development will include shared infrastructure and parking. The developer will also contribute approximately $4.1 million toward improvements to State Road 100 to address the project's transportation impacts.
HSR Daytona Classic 24 Returns to Daytona International Speedway
Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR) returns to Daytona International Speedway November 11–15 for the HSR Daytona Classic 24. The event will feature historic race cars, including former winners of the 24 Hours of Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring and 24 Hours of Le Mans. Fans can visit the paddock, see the cars up close and meet drivers and racing legends.
